Okay, so you've convinced me I need a toaster oven. Mostly because I refuse to have to turn on my oven in the summer.

Do you have a suggestion on a type of toaster oven to buy? Do I want one that does anything special like broiling as well?

Mine is a Delonghi and it has broil, toast, and bake settings -- it's a basic toaster oven I've had for nearly 10 years already. It's large enough to toast 6 snugly-arranged pieces of toast flat on the racks at a time. I can also easily fit an 8 x 8 baking pan and probably something larger as well. It's probably similar to this basic model that they're offering now, though mine is nowhere near as sleek-looking! I would definitely get one with a broil setting -- it's nice for browning the tops of dishes, and good for quickly cooking meats in a pinch. -- Dara

I like how you put the word "just" right before listing 4 ingredients!;o)

Well, considering it took literally two minutes to prep, just shaking on the spices, I think "just" is justified! -- Dara
