I did a tour of my Passover kitchen last year, and thought it would be fun to do it again.

The photo above is what was left of our chometz as of Tuesday night. I covered the bin and put it under our piano for the duration of the holiday.

You could eat off the inside of my freezer, and it was no small feat cleaning it — I practically had to climb inside to get at the back wall. G. is super-excited about kosher for Passover dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets made by Of Tov.

No photo of the fridge. It pretty much looks like any other day, since I was able to confine the chometz to a tiny section of the door. The soy sauce, ketchup, and other non-Pesadich condiments are covered with a cloth napkin to remind us not to use them during Passover.

All my dishes, pots, etc. are stored on the counter during the holiday. This year I treated myself to some cute mixing and serving bowls from Target. I also kasher my coffee maker by running it through some water & vinegar cycles (without the coffee, obviously).

The other side of the kitchen — I’m about to prep the asparagus (roasted with lemon) and Brussels sprouts (also roasted, just with olive oil and salt & pepper) for the first seder.

My stove, with the only pot and pan I have for the holiday. It works fine for 8 days out of the year.

Moroccan Chicken Tajine: I recently had a chicken tajine dish at Fig & Olive in Scarsdale, and wanted to recreate something similar at home. This is an Ina Garten recipe, and she never fails me.

"Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye. I find the xylophone haunting, and the lyrics are poignant. Love this track.
