CSA Share ‘09, Week 22
November 5, 2009

Only a few weeks left of our 2009 farm share, and what a treat we got this week: 9 ears of popcorn, still on the cob! The boys were totally fascinated by it. I need to test it out and see if its dry enough yet to pop — apparently we can put it in a paper bag, and pop it in the microwave while it is still on the cob.
We also received: a big bunch of curly kale, a cute bunch of radishes (I never expected these in the fall), a quart of potatoes, an onion, mixed lettuce, arugula, and a small head of broccoli.

You can pop it on the cob, but we found it to be a pain to get the pop corn that way. It was better to take the corn off the cob and pop it that way, when we tried it.
