Disclosure

This disclosure statement is valid from December 20, 2009 onward.

Chick in the Kitchen is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact me at .

The short disclosure: Almost every product, service, restaurant, etc. that I write about is something I paid for myself in the course of my daily life. Sometimes, though, I’ll accept gifts from companies that offer them. However, I never recommend products if they’re not something I would otherwise purchase and use myself.

The longer disclosure: This blog does not accept any form of cash advertising, sponsorship, or paid topic insertions. However, I do occasionally accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, coupons, or other forms of non-monetary compensation from companies and organizations. When I do, I will always clearly disclose that fact within the post that the item is mentioned. The products or services I receive will never influence the content, topics, or posts made in this blog. This is a labor of love, I am not interested in getting you to buy something I don’t think you’ll like. Remember that any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

Of course, the views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own, and I reserve the right to change my mind often.

Thanks for reading!

Moroccan Chicken Tajine: I recently had a chicken tajine dish at Fig & Olive in Scarsdale, and wanted to recreate something similar at home. This is an Ina Garten recipe, and she never fails me.

"Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye. I find the xylophone haunting, and the lyrics are poignant. Love this track.
